Job Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A CDL and 1 year verifiable driving experience. Cannot have a DUI within the past 10 years. Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical examination and Drug Screening as outlined in the D.O.T.
Regulations. Must be able to pass a road test. Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days. Must be willing to work flexible hours and some weekend.
Must be a willing to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to work in a hot, cold, humid & wet environment. Must observe all required hygiene & safety procedures at all times. Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, & turning.
Must set an example for other team members in complying with all policies. If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration of 6 months employment out of the last 12, they may be contacted for an interview.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the transport and delivery of feed on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered semi-tractor/trailer short distances. Home on a daily basis. Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. Must keep truck and equipment clean and in good working order.
